Dear Loved One,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I cannot express myself too clearly<\/p>\n

When I vocalise the words<\/p>\n

So I have decided<\/p>\n

To write you this poem:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

King of your castle, the world at your feet…<\/p>\n

That’s how I prefer to see you my Sweet;<\/p>\n

But the smile on your face seems different, today<\/p>\n

As it touches your eyes in down tones of Gray.<\/p>\n

The tone in your voice spells the fear in your heart,<\/p>\n

Revealing a lifetime of bruises and scars.<\/p>\n

Action speaks louder than words as you try<\/p>\n

To disguise your wounded soul<\/p>\n

While you silently cry<\/p>\n

For moments and years that were twisted by fate,<\/p>\n

And for time that was wasted through senseless debate.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But with me, dear Beloved, you don’t have to pretend –<\/p>\n

Just relax in my presence – let me help you to mend<\/p>\n

All that terrible brokenness – conquer all strife<\/p>\n

As you slowly, but surely, step back into life.<\/p>\n
