birthday across the globe from<\/p>\n

me, I wish I could be there<\/p>\n

for cake and company<\/p>\n

I wish I could take you to<\/p>\n

the spa and out to lunch<\/p>\n

I wish we could spend some<\/p>\n

time and maybe the next day, brunch<\/p>\n

I wish I could buy you diamonds<\/p>\n

and house on a hill<\/p>\n

maybe even retire you from working<\/p>\n

so you could netflix and chill, for real.<\/p>\n

I wish you could do whatever you wanted<\/p>\n

and not have to worry about a thing<\/p>\n

I wish you would have answered<\/p>\n

the phone, so to you, I could sing<\/p>\n

I know it’s far too early<\/p>\n

and I can’t behave like a brat<\/p>\n

after all it’s your birthday not mine<\/p>\n

and you can sleep as long as you want<\/p>\n

there’s nothing wrong with that<\/p>\n

but when you awake in a couple of hours<\/p>\n

without a card, breakfast or some flowers<\/p>\n

know I’m coming over soon to love on you<\/p>\n

and to make some of your birthday<\/p>\n

wishes come true.<\/p>\n
