Hang your head, the preacher man said.
\n<\/span>There is a hole, within your soul,
\n<\/span>and, you better fix it, before you’re dead.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amen, the choir sang. Amen, the crowd chanted.
\n<\/span>Amen, the church bells rang. Amen, the sinners recanted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Holy Rolling comes hard to me.
\n<\/span>I just don’t appreciate the show.
\n<\/span>Its got the feel of a ponzi scheme.
\n<\/span>Its like swimming sideways,
\n<\/span>whether up or down the stream<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking Tongues makes me wonder
\n<\/span>who’s talking, who’s listening and why.
\n<\/span>I grasp the point, I hear their plea.
\n<\/span>I even try to make some sense,
\n<\/span>but sorry, it’s still all Greek to me<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>There is a rip, deep within your heart,
\n<\/span>and, you need mend it afore the raptures start<\/span><\/p>\n

Bible Verses are head scratching lines,
\n<\/span>as my mind begets to wandering.
\n<\/span>They seem to have them canned, in a jar,
\n<\/span>waiting for some righteous opportunity,
\n<\/span>but literal parables are simply too bizarre<\/span><\/p>\n

Damn You to hell I’ve oft been told
\n<\/span>the yellow venom slick within their veins.
\n<\/span>It reminds me much of the golden fleece
\n<\/span>and the wolf and the lamb and the ruse,
\n<\/span>if they truly cared, perhaps the word to use is peace<\/span><\/p>\n

Lift your head, the universe said.
\n<\/span>You are a shining star and as you carry your scar,
\n<\/span>THEY talk of god, yet, that’s what YOU are.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amen, the cosmos sang. Amen, the Mother chanted.
