\nDrinking every day.
\nSex that is free after vows are made.
\nGetting mad,
\nmaking up,
\ngetting madder,
\nmaking up tougher,
\nhit with the reality that my spouse is an alcoholic,
\nand all the sudden,
\nlife and responsibility lies on my shoulders
\nand I don\u2019t want it.
\nI have to live sober through the hell,
\nand he drinks and curses me ruthlessly,
\nand I have to forgive day after day after day\u2026
\nthe dream is a nightmare,
\nand I am awake;
\nhow was a na\u00efve 18 year old supposed to beat the wits of
\na 30 year old man?
\nShe\u2019s not<\/em>! I didn\u2019t! And the story goes\u2026<\/p>\n
