The Writer<\/p>\n<p>The alarm screeching .<\/p>\n<p>I wake up with my heart thumping<\/p>\n<p>like a drum beating,<\/p>\n<p>soaring in nervous anticipation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The moon in the dark, desolate sky is bright.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s beauty, an inspirational sight.<\/p>\n<p>My mind and heart in excitement is burning alight.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst everyone else is asleep in calm, sweet repose.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Like a guitar, the keyboard, I lovingly strum.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clatter, like a beating drum.<\/p>\n<p>Words appear, as elegant dancers on my monitor as I rhythmically hum.<\/p>\n<p>In excitement, solitude and peace of mind, I am writing, I am writing.<\/p>\n<p>I am writing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
