{"id":31527,"date":"2017-08-05T09:16:23","date_gmt":"2017-08-05T13:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=31527"},"modified":"2017-08-05T09:19:44","modified_gmt":"2017-08-05T13:19:44","slug":"hour-one-prompt-earth-water-fire-and-wind-birth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/hour-one-prompt-earth-water-fire-and-wind-birth\/","title":{"rendered":"Hour 1 (Prompt &#8211; Earth, Water, Fire and Wind) &#8211; Birth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\">in the delivery room,<br \/>\nmy heartbeat goes up, and then down,<br \/>\nin pain, yet I smile,<br \/>\nin few seconds, blossoms a new life.<br \/>\nI hold you in my arms,<br \/>\nand embrace you tightly to my heart,<br \/>\nsometimes, I see you in the moonlight,<br \/>\nat times \u2013 in the sunlight.<br \/>\nI kiss your little feet,<br \/>\nrub my cheek against your cheek,<br \/>\nI ask myself, endless times,<br \/>\nwhether you really look like me?<br \/>\nyou keeping looking at me,<br \/>\nhold my finger in your fist,<br \/>\nand lick my lips \u2013 now and then,<br \/>\nmaybe that\u2019s the birth of new life!<\/p>\n<p>PS: Life or human body&#8217;s existence is due these four elements &#8211; earth, water, fire and wind. Birth defines the existence and significance of these elements.
