heat water for coffee, my morning elixir.<\/p>\n
Careful, do not spill it on me.<\/p>\n
Ah! I\u2019m first to the activity room.<\/p>\n
I get the seat by the window,<\/p>\n
Light on my left to illuminate<\/p>\n
My stipple art as I begin my day.<\/p>\n
Dot, dot, dot . . . so many dots.<\/p>\n
First, the outlines which resolve into shapes,<\/p>\n
Pause to check perspective, then more dots.<\/p>\n
All day, dots, dots, dots, until they<\/p>\n
Begin to build tones and after hours<\/p>\n
I see forms on the page.<\/p>\n
Forms of people, trees, clouds, all giving<\/p>\n
Expression, giving life in a black and white world.<\/p>\n
My, did I just stipple a metaphor of<\/p>\n
