The too eager readiness to go the extra mile<\/p>\n
The fleeting moments regularly recalled<\/p>\n
The heart and mind both enthralled<\/p>\n
And in your habit of staying too long<\/p>\n
And the lyrics of your unscheduled song<\/p>\n
Our unflinching psychic radar<\/p>\n
Trained on each other no matter how far<\/p>\n
Our need to touch base<\/p>\n
Our too happy face<\/p>\n
The cryptic clues we weave through the years<\/p>\n
Our tug-of-war with desire and fears<\/p>\n
And despite the unwritten sacrifice<\/p>\n
None of it has sufficed<\/p>\n
To make us grow sick of this sickness<\/p>\n
