To those who have been heartbroken twice, thrice<\/p>\n
I’ve had my share of these old flames’ return<\/p>\n
And oh boy!<\/p>\n
Was I not been burnt but engulfed in flames!<\/p>\n
You believed them, the second time, and again,<\/p>\n
burnt you again<\/p>\n
Whatever for?<\/p>\n
Why did you let \u00a0them enter your gullible heart again?<\/p>\n
Say those titillating words (again) and again<\/p>\n
Why entertain them again for what they did to you<\/p>\n
the first time?<\/p>\n
I am at a loss for words<\/p>\n
I’m gullible, trusting, lovesick, a romantic person<\/p>\n
I cannot, for the life of me, give reasons for the<\/p>\n
whys, whats, whens, and whatevers<\/p>\n
I believe that when they come back –<\/p>\n
it’s destiny, we’re fated, the Divine intervened!<\/p>\n
But who am I kidding?<\/p>\n
If they did it the first time, why not a second<\/p>\n
or a third?<\/p>\n
Yet I’m not a lost cause.<\/p>\n
I am aware of the heartaches, of the pains, aches<\/p>\n
and unhappiness<\/p>\n
Please bear with me<\/p>\n
I am learning, and learning, and learning<\/p>\n
Just bear with me<\/p>\n
I can look at the ashes more clearly now.<\/p>\n
Never, really never<\/p>\n
