At times, I just watch people
\nLike now – I see a pregnant woman
\nI think, what she must be thinking
\nMaybe – ‘ whether it’s a boy or a girl’.<\/p>\n
Crossing the waves,
\nI see an old man talking to his wife
\nIn so many years of togetherness –
\nhe still finds her benign.<\/p>\n
As I sip my lemonade
\nMy eyes fall on a couple
\nBoth are sharing the same table –
\nyet conversing through their mobiles.<\/p>\n
Eavesdropping upon the conversation
\nA daughter tells to her father
\nThe best new year gift for her –
\nif he stops smoking forever!<\/p>\n
I stop looking around for a while
\nAnd I close my eyes to realise
\nThere is a world inside me –
