After seeing the flicks Bugs’ Life and Antz<\/p>\n
I came to see you in a different light<\/p>\n
I revered your solidity, oneness<\/p>\n
I admired your orderliness<\/p>\n
I regarded you as a force to reckon with<\/p>\n
But<\/p>\n
You’ve been pestering me for quite sometime now<\/p>\n
I see your horde in my little eden<\/p>\n
Mystified at what you’re at<\/p>\n
Lining up and attacking my little plants<\/p>\n
Why?<\/p>\n
Much against my inner turmoil<\/p>\n
I have to choose your bunch or my dear plants<\/p>\n
And arrived at, my plants I’ve got to save<\/p>\n
Gone was the reverence, admiration accorded to your species<\/p>\n
You are killing my plants! Why?<\/p>\n
By your mere presence? What?<\/p>\n
I concluded \u00a0and considered you now one or many of those pests<\/p>\n
So there!<\/p>\n
I sprayed and sprayed water to break your rank,<\/p>\n
To dismantle built-up soil you made on my flower pots<\/p>\n
And wreaking havoc to my plants.<\/p>\n
With a heavy heart, no let up on the spraying<\/p>\n
Until the last of your soldiers cascaded down<\/p>\n
with the water, dizzy (perhaps), dead or whatever<\/p>\n
No regrets tho that I killed a platoon.<\/p>\n
