Where I used to go in the summer<\/p>\n
Or the winter or the fall depending<\/p>\n
It was usually my mother’s call<\/p>\n
When we’d visit the House on Catamaran<\/p>\n

It was a beautiful House on Catamaran<\/p>\n
With a white picket-fence and wisteria overhang<\/p>\n
And a cobble-stone path all the way to the door<\/p>\n
I’ve never seen anything like it since or before.<\/p>\n
That beautiful House on Catamaran.<\/p>\n

I remember so much about the House on Catamaran<\/p>\n
Like the three willow trees in the front yard,<\/p>\n
The river that never ran, next to the jasmine bushes<\/p>\n
I remember how the jasmine bushes grew over the porch sometimes<\/p>\n
Entangling the House on Catamaran.<\/p>\n

There was a playHouse on Catamaran<\/p>\n
That my grandfather and dad built<\/p>\n
It was made for the grandkids to play in<\/p>\n
With a kitchen and dollhouse it gave pretend a new spin<\/p>\n
As if we had our own House on Catamaran.<\/p>\n

I miss the House on Catamaran<\/p>\n
With its wide porch and wider yard<\/p>\n
I miss the times with Cassie our golden<\/p>\n
And the times we’d play dress up and cards.<\/p>\n
I’ll always sorely miss the House on Catamaran.<\/p>\n

We no longer visit the House on Catamaran<\/p>\n
My grandparents no longer live there.<\/p>\n
The ownership changed and new housing was arranged.<\/p>\n
In the same city but not the same space.<\/p>\n
