Think of me when thunder bursts through dark skies.
\nOnly then will you know the tears I’ve cried.
\nRemember me when lightning brightens your path,
\nIt’s a gift both precious and stark.<\/p>\n
You didn’t understand my pain
\nAnd took my feelings in vain.
\nYou held my heart in your hands
\nAnd crushed it so hard it bears your brand.<\/p>\n
I seek my solace in the storm.
\nNot many think it’s the norm
\nBut who can tell my tears from the rain?
\nWho can tell if it’s the cold or pain?<\/p>\n
Maybe one day we’ll meet.

\nI hope by then the storm ceases to rage
