{"id":34499,"date":"2017-08-05T14:44:12","date_gmt":"2017-08-05T18:44:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=34499"},"modified":"2017-08-05T14:44:12","modified_gmt":"2017-08-05T18:44:12","slug":"graffiti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/graffiti\/","title":{"rendered":"Graffiti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>HOUR SIX<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An artist- a graffiti for appraisal<br \/>\na solicitous effort to mend a chaos<br \/>\nWhite noise- a concoction of idiosyncrasies and vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n<p>How to break this inertia?<br \/>\nGraffiti languishing in a loop- not a loop of Henle but maybe a loop of Karma?<\/p>\n<p>You need a better word for it\u2026<br \/>\nBreak this inertia!<\/p>\n<p>Our appetites feeds on raven-<br \/>\nFlushed out in Marshland.<br \/>\nPuncture wounds in the left-hand swallow the whole reality<br \/>\nThoughts outpours seeped deep into the pink veins<\/p>\n<p>Graffiti injected with the gigantic dope<br \/>\nTruth or chaos?<br \/>\nCan&#8217;t an artist fathom such things in delusion or a fugue state?<\/p>\n<p>Graffiti {{Liberty}} {{freedom}} {{peace}} in a crowded LA street.<br \/>\nWhere does the inspiration come from?<br \/>\n-the moldy scriptures, lethargies or oxidized ruminations<br \/>\nscribbled on the museum&#8217;s walls- \u201clegacy and cultural renaissance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A dissonance is heard<br \/>\na placid shriek<br \/>\nsound coming from the instrument resembling Taonga p\u016boro<br \/>\nEcho words {{{breathe}}}<\/p>\n<p>Graffiti cemented in the pile of concrete walls<br \/>\nand landscapes<br \/>\nthe city skyline and horizon looks dimmer than before.<\/p>\n<p>The last night frazzled me out; the blushing Victorian street lamps merging dots of lights;<\/p>\n<p>as I closed my eyes to end my fugue state.<\/p>\n<p>The next morning, I wake up in the cozy bed of my elegant LA surroundings;<\/p>\n<p>while half-asleep paintings gawked at me.<\/p>\n<p>3-D Cubes in my mojito and everything goes back to monochrome again.<\/p>\n<p>graffiti spotted in the LA city.<br \/>\nRicochet {{{inertia}}} {{{three olives Vodka}}}<\/p>\n<p><strong>Copyrighted by Ruchi Chopra, 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HOUR SIX An artist- a graffiti for appraisal a solicitous effort to mend a chaos White noise- a concoction of idiosyncrasies and vulnerabilities.
