like air<\/p>\n
to keep me away from the phone<\/p>\n
away from the memories<\/p>\n
i tell myself that you have everything you need<\/p>\n
exactly where you are and that your space is full-<\/p>\n
even crowded without me.<\/p>\n
i inhale the moments when i thought you were<\/p>\n
life itself-<\/p>\n
and quickly remember the hours when you brought death to me.<\/p>\n
i remember still that you couldn’t articulate it well<\/p>\n
but in some small corner light bloomed and i’ll never forget<\/p>\n
that day;<\/p>\n
the moment i understood,<\/p>\n
the moment i separated truth from illusion-<\/p>\n
the moment i felt myself falling-<\/p>\n
through time and space-<\/p>\n
through earth’s door.<\/p>\n
i remember how it felt-<\/p>\n
bundled and full but<\/p>\n
empty and unraveled all at the same time.<\/p>\n
blissfully happy is the mantra i tell myself-<\/p>\n
you have everything you need<\/p>\n
