Not so much.<\/p>\n<p>I sit down on my front step<br \/>\nwatching the cockroach exer-die<br \/>\nhis little legs pedaling invisible,<br \/>\nimaginary bike\u00a0 &#8211; or maybe yoga?<\/p>\n<p>his legs move slower, slower<br \/>\nbarely twitching, they then stop.<br \/>\nI await the arrival of another<br \/>\ncockroach to do perform CPR<br \/>\nor maybe a cicada, to note TOD<\/p>\n<p>realizing I am late for work<br \/>\nI stand, leaving the cockroach there<br \/>\nto whatever fates await dead bugs,<br \/>\nbefore heading for the car.<br \/>\nI don\u2019t even bother with a prayer<\/p>\n<p>the cockroach, I presume,<br \/>\nhas his own theology<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u2013 Mark L.
