Looking from the inside out,
\ncasts a spell of dark self-doubt\u2026
\nI wear a cloak, a mage’s hat,
\nSay abracadabra and all of that. <\/p>\n
But still the demons reappear.
\nI feel them lurking, drawing near\u2026
\nI wave my wand, drink some potion.
\nInside out is a revealing notion.<\/p>\n
I hide my face, I wear my mask;
\nkeeping inside in is a formidable task\u2026
\nDon’t let them see, don’t let them know.
\nSo much of me, I dare not show<\/p>\n
So much that\u2019s fragile and reticent,
\nI\u2019m complicated and omnipotent\u2026
\nThere\u2019s much, much more I can\u2019t expose.
\nLet them wonder; they can all suppose.<\/p>\n
Looking from the outside in,
\nblemished heart bleeds tainted sin\u2026
\nCan you love me, think you truly can
