{"id":3662,"date":"2014-08-23T23:57:10","date_gmt":"2014-08-24T03:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=3662"},"modified":"2014-08-23T23:57:10","modified_gmt":"2014-08-24T03:57:10","slug":"multitasking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/multitasking\/","title":{"rendered":"Multitasking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Switching between one passion to the next.<\/p>\n<p>One pays the bills, the other feeds the soul.<\/p>\n<p>Going back from turning a chicken breast to pulling bread from the oven, then back to writing a line or two.<\/p>\n<p>If you would have asked me before, I&#8217;d say it was impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, with the knowledge I have of cooking times and cleaning in between, it makes it possible to handle so many tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, there&#8217;s one problem; my brain hurts now!<\/p>\n<p>As well as sweating like a dog in heat and trying not to burn my hands and other extremities.<\/p>\n<p>But how lucky am I?<\/p>\n<p>I get to devote part of my time to living both my passions at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>This is my life and I&#8217;m glad to say, I can still fulfill both needs.
