I’ve barely eaten all day<\/p>\n

But it doesn’t matter<\/p>\n

I’very been hungry for hours now<\/p>\n

But it doesn’t matter<\/p>\n

I’ve made multiple plans in my head on what to eat<\/p>\n

But it doesn’t matter<\/p>\n

My soul finally feels fed<\/p>\n

I finally feel secure<\/p>\n

I have been wrapped in the arms of the boys I knew then and the men they are now<\/p>\n

I have been cradled and protected in their arms<\/p>\n

I have been reminded that people smile when they see me<\/p>\n

That they reach out their arms to me<\/p>\n

I don’t get courtesy hugs<\/p>\n

I am given full-body contact and held tight hugs<\/p>\n

The ones that say, I’ve missed you<\/p>\n

I still care about you<\/p>\n
