A Noiseless, Impatient Spider<\/p>\n<p>(apologies to Mr. Whitman)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>some spiders fling their filaments<\/p>\n<p>and do not catch the other wall<\/p>\n<p>poor spider thinks maybe I didn\u2019t need<\/p>\n<p>to get to the other side<\/p>\n<p>or (more often) thinks<\/p>\n<p>maybe I\u2019m just not good enough to get to the other<\/p>\n<p>thinks the other didn\u2019t want<\/p>\n<p>me \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (some spiders are whiners)<\/p>\n<p>thinks I cannot make<\/p>\n<p>a bridge to fucking anything<\/p>\n<p>not all spiders know<\/p>\n<p>what Walt Whitman was talking about<\/p>\n<p>and (face it) Walt wouldn\u2019t know them, either<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9.
