In the darkness, I sank<\/p>\n

to lose one who cared<\/p>\n
so sudden it’s cruel and unfair.<\/p>\n
We didn’t say goodbye<\/p>\n
no way to prepare,<\/p>\n
On Sunday he passed<\/p>\n
And Monday he wasn’t there.<\/p>\n
In tears, I then grieved<\/p>\n
for who’d understand?<\/p>\n
the dark for he cared,<\/p>\n
in darkness I’m cast<\/p>\n
not sure where.<\/p>\n
No one could say<\/p>\n
no one could know,<\/p>\n
one sure thing he’s not there.<\/p>\n
