Author’s Note: This is much like the meet again poem that I did for hour two, but instead, it’s in Darryl’s point of view. The poem is addressed to Diana. Enjoy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I call your name, but<\/p>\n

you can’t hear me.<\/p>\n

I see you,<\/p>\n

but you don’t see me.<\/p>\n

I breath,<\/p>\n

but you don’t really know.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Oh,<\/p>\n

how it pains me<\/p>\n

to see your pain<\/p>\n

and to know that I can’t hold you in my arms<\/p>\n

to make you feel better.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All I can do is<\/p>\n

give you small signs of my existence<\/p>\n

and wait for you to return to me<\/p>\n

after your life is over.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It sounds so simple,<\/p>\n

yet it isn’t.<\/p>\n

It sounds so easy,<\/p>\n

but…it isn’t.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You could be married by the end of your life for all I know,<\/p>\n

and then I couldn’t be with you.<\/p>\n

But I know<\/p>\n

if you just keep having faith that I am here<\/p>\n

and never lose sight of the love I have for you,<\/p>\n

we can be together<\/p>\n

forever and always.<\/p>\n
