{"id":38294,"date":"2017-08-05T20:30:49","date_gmt":"2017-08-06T00:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=38294"},"modified":"2017-08-05T20:30:49","modified_gmt":"2017-08-06T00:30:49","slug":"for-some-reason-im-tired-and-my-house-is-falling-apart-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/for-some-reason-im-tired-and-my-house-is-falling-apart-12\/","title":{"rendered":"For some reason I&#8217;m tired and my house is falling apart&#8230;-12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Panic attack<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m feeling quite whack<\/p>\n<p>Energy is dipping<\/p>\n<p>So my mind is slipping<\/p>\n<p>Entering a state of sheer adrenaline<\/p>\n<p>The room collapses around me<\/p>\n<p>My drawers fall off of the wall.<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s not all.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s all on me to fix.<\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;ll last until six.<\/p>\n<p>There is no way to say for sure<\/p>\n<p>but this room is hellish, like Hades&#8217; cur.<\/p>\n<p>Simple due to my choice&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>When I finally sleep I shall rejoice.<\/p>\n<p>Until then, memes and spite sustain me<\/p>\n<p>Rest is reckless without support.<\/p>\n<p>I might just ramble till the dawn.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m halfway through, it&#8217;s too early to yawn.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-seven hours awake<\/p>\n<p>Twenty more my soul to take.<\/p>\n<p>Keep me running keep it coming<\/p>\n<p>Give me that sweet sugar,<\/p>\n<p>Give me absinthe and vigor.<\/p>\n<p>I shall be victorious.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Panic attack I&#8217;m feeling quite whack Energy is dipping So my mind is slipping Entering a state of sheer adrenaline The room collapses around me My drawers fall off of the wall.
