But listen closer; go deeper within<\/p>\n
Cup your hands to your ears<\/p>\n
Beyond the heavy footsteps of your boldly beating heart, listen for the other rhythms.<\/p>\n
The ones you usually ignore.<\/p>\n
The cacophony\u00a0of caffeine cruising\u00a0through your veins at dangerously high speeds<\/p>\n
The brawling beasts in your belly; escapees from a banned mosh-pit<\/p>\n
Your long laboring lungs like violent waves crashing.<\/p>\n
The longer you listen, the louder they become.<\/p>\n
Harder to ignore<\/p>\n
Sometimes sneaking into your waking world.<\/p>\n
