I\u2019m beginning to give up.
\nA third of a year of this nonsense in Washington DC
\nhas me holding onto my balls for fear they\u2019ll steal them.<\/p>\n
This wax on wax off government in which one bunch of yahoos spends
\nall their time undoing what the previous bunch did
\nseems to me like a long road to nowhere.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, at just the wrong time,
\nvanishing species are protected less,
\nthe waters are allowed to rise,
\nmore citizens are denied the vote.<\/p>\n
Immigrants are made unwelcome
\non the assumption that people
\nwho used to have good union jobs
\nwill gladly go to work doing backbreaking labor
\nfor a few dollars an hour.<\/p>\n
