Staring at nothing,<\/p>\n
lost in her own world<\/p>\n
Misty-eyed, glazy<\/p>\n
Indefatigable sorrow, unrelenting,<\/p>\n
deafening<\/p>\n
Silent sobbings<\/p>\n
The eyes, the eyes, says it all.<\/p>\n
Will there be no let-up?<\/p>\n
Will it be a continuing restlessness?<\/p>\n
It was half-expected, the excruciating pain,<\/p>\n
Yet still she’s hurting.<\/p>\n
Unsuspectingly the torrential tears, non-stop<\/p>\n
Welcome or not, it’s the relief that’s due her<\/p>\n
The outpouring of hurts, pains, aches<\/p>\n
The free-flowing saline fluid, unburdening<\/p>\n
Loosening the heaviness inside.<\/p>\n
At that the dam abated<\/p>\n
Just like when it started, unceremoniously<\/p>\n
And with it, de-constriction.<\/p>\n
A hiatus, albeit temporary,<\/p>\n
A relief, a great sigh of relief…<\/p>\n
