{"id":39177,"date":"2017-08-05T21:59:28","date_gmt":"2017-08-06T01:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=39177"},"modified":"2017-08-05T22:00:33","modified_gmt":"2017-08-06T02:00:33","slug":"39177","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/39177\/","title":{"rendered":"The Fallacy of Unitarity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>In quantum physics, unitarity is a restriction<br \/>\non the allowed evolution of quantum systems<br \/>\nthat ensures the sum of probabilities<br \/>\nof all possible outcomes<br \/>\nof any event always equals one.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It is known in the physical world<br \/>\nthat certain aspects<br \/>\ncan exhibit themselves<br \/>\nin more than one place<br \/>\nat the same time.<br \/>\nAny young mother knows that,<br \/>\nsince that\u2019s how she picks up<br \/>\nthe kids at soccer practice,<br \/>\nand gets the groceries,<br \/>\nand takes a much needed rest<br \/>\nall at the same time.<\/p>\n<p><em>Newton\u2019s first law: Every object will remain at rest<br \/>\nor in uniform motion in a straight line<br \/>\nunless compelled to change its state<br \/>\nby the action of an external force.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The external forces of a mother<br \/>\nare efficient and done before<br \/>\nyou know it. The first section<br \/>\nof Newton\u2019s first law of motion<br \/>\nclearly exemplifies that. Any mother<br \/>\ncan remain at rest because she needs<br \/>\nthat rest, and cannot be compelled<br \/>\nto move by any external force. <\/p>\n<p>She, therefore, must divide herself,<br \/>\nbreaking the rule of unitarity into a dualarity,<br \/>\nto drive herself into another quantum system<br \/>\nto pick up the kids from soccer practice,<br \/>\nas compelled by an obvious external force. <\/p>\n<p>And, during that same time frame,<br \/>\nshe must again split into a third<br \/>\nfull mother quantum system, becoming<br \/>\na full triarity, because<br \/>\neveryone is counting on her,<br \/>\nand she absolutely must go about<br \/>\ngetting the groceries.<br \/>\nHer existence really is<br \/>\nvery trying at this point.<br \/>\nIf this statement were untrue,<br \/>\nchildren wouldn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n<p>Too bad that any and all answers<br \/>\nto this statement<br \/>\nmust be considered speculation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In quantum physics, unitarity is a restriction on the allowed evolution of quantum systems that ensures the sum of probabilities of all possible outcomes of any event always equals one.
