Drizzle mingles with splashes<\/p>\n<p>from rippled puddles and pools, steams<\/p>\n<p>to a boil. Kids in raincoats<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and large red boots stomp in the dark,<\/p>\n<p>across gravel, through water,<\/p>\n<p>under leaves. Jars filled with lightning<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>bugs light their way, makeshift flashlights.<\/p>\n<p>In their other hand, empty<\/p>\n<p>jars, ready to catch the hums.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Giggles become shushed as creatures<\/p>\n<p>leap back into the night, followed<\/p>\n<p>by excited feet. They hide<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>beneath the corn stalks and fallen<\/p>\n<p>tomatoes.
