And underneath the yoga mat<\/p>\n
That’s the real lie<\/p>\n
The truth is those lies<\/p>\n
The flash of memory<\/p>\n
Never belonged to me in the first place<\/p>\n
It was borrowed<\/p>\n
From someone else’s hyperventilating<\/p>\n
And deep breathing<\/p>\n
Homeostasis is a very old place<\/p>\n
The return of address<\/p>\n
Would never reach me<\/p>\n
I’m far too gone now<\/p>\n
Replaced someone else’s fear<\/p>\n
With Someone else’s strength<\/p>\n
Replaced someone else’s sin<\/p>\n
With Someone else’s embrace<\/p>\n
Not borrowed, freely given<\/p>\n
Makes the waves of anguish<\/p>\n
Flashes of memory shorter lived<\/p>\n
And the replacement with hope and rivers of water living<\/p>\n
