It’s been done<\/p>\n
Overdone<\/p>\n
That broken heart<\/p>\n
That dead loved one<\/p>\n
That big hole left in the soul<\/p>\n
We all live it, survive it<\/p>\n
Poet’s write about it<\/p>\n
Musicians sing about it<\/p>\n
It makes our ” I can’t” Into ” I can”<\/p>\n

This time I refuse<\/p>\n
I can’t come to some grand acceptance<\/p>\n
Fuck loss<\/p>\n
Fuck death and it’s dirty tricks and games<\/p>\n
There is nothing glorious or manageable<\/p>\n
About a heart being ripped apart<\/p>\n
Friends gone<\/p>\n
Family dead<\/p>\n
Another loss, another funeral<\/p>\n
Another sad goodbye no one wants to do<\/p>\n
No it doesn’t make us stronger<\/p>\n
There is no God plan to rescue us<\/p>\n
There is no brighter tomorrow<\/p>\n
Just more of the same<\/p>\n
