Late for the half-marathon, but sleep and soon-to-move-packing got in the way!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She soon awoke, locked in a cell
\n“Where is my crew!?” she loudly yelled
\nA mouse guard hit hear over the head
\nWith a stick “Oh, they’re all dead.”
\n“And so you’ll be, lest you don’t sit still
\nAnd wait here for a while until
\nOur chancellor can have a word
\nWhich she’s said might change your world.”
\nAnd suddenly, a snow-white mouse
\nWith brocade skirts and lacy blouse
\nIntroduced herself; “Good day, miss Cat,
\nI’m the chancellor, we need to have a chat.
\nIt’s an honor to meet you, and we’re
\nAboout to explain why we need you here.
\nWe had to wait to wait you out, and look around
\nTo learn of where you could be found
\nSpread rumours of a new machine
\nA foolproof way to lure out Meowleen!”
\nYou see, when we first got word of you
\nWe couldn’t believe that it was true.
\nIn our ancient prophecy all mice have seenIt tells of you, our destined queen.”<\/p>\n
