<\/p>\nI Am glad to see you again, poetry, my friend, my lover, my counselor, my solace, my soul, my gift.<\/p>\n
It’ been too long and not at the same time since we’ve seen each other.<\/p>\n
Been together. Like we were before.<\/p>\n
I Am sorry that I’ve been gone for so long<\/p>\n
I’ve been transcending and ascending<\/p>\n
Going above and beyond myself<\/p>\n
On my journey of knowing, living, and loving me<\/p>\n
I mean, I know you know<\/p>\n
You’re inside of me.<\/p>\n
I Am glad that you haven’t left me you were there for me when I turned the page over and over again<\/p>\n
Inside joke, between you and me. \ud83d\ude09\ud83d\ude18<\/p>\n
I Am here taking advantage of me and an opportunity to be united with you again as one<\/p>\n
So close, like we once were all those years ago.<\/p>\n
I Am sorry that I slowly let you go<\/p>\n
As I slowly let myself go and get lost in a rainbow \ud83c\udf08<\/p>\n
Of wifey, mother, sister, daughter, friend, servant, Chameleon<\/p>\n
While forgetting that you, me, are the waters that make them so.<\/p>\n
I am sorry for my Blurred Vision<\/p>\n
When I looked at my reflection<\/p>\n
I Am thankful that my reflection was and is always me<\/p>\n
And the vow that I put in me<\/p>\n
I finally rose \ud83c\udf39 to the occasion to apply it to me.<\/p>\n
And here writing this now<\/p>\n
With the first hour’s prompt of this poetry marathon<\/p>\n
That I Almost Missed<\/p>\n
Just confirms, reaffirms, reminds me<\/p>\n
As I Am doing more than Singing<\/p>\n
My life is Right On Vibe\u2122<\/p>\n
We are both Cosmic and Ancient<\/p>\n
2019, 6th Grade, 33<\/p>\n
The Universal Alignment of 3<\/p>\n
I AM meant to be<\/p>\n
And Poetry once again<\/p>\n
