I see her face, once expressive,<\/p>\n
now pallid and pensive.<\/p>\n
I see her eyes, persuasive and bright,<\/p>\n
now full and dark with fright.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Her hair, once full, now gone,<\/p>\n
energy depleted, night and morn.<\/p>\n
She worries for her children n family,<\/p>\n
How will they manage with her so sickly.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Overnight the world changed for her,<\/p>\n
when she was diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n
The trauma of radiation and chemo,<\/p>\n
Inspite of this the dread that the\u00a0 cancer cells might grow.<\/p>\n
The pain! The pain! The pain!<\/p>\n
On the mind,\u00a0 body and soul,\u00a0 a drain!<\/p>\n

I try to give her comfort to cope<\/p>\n
but I know she has given up all hope!<\/p>\n
