A Conversation with my Father <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Father,<\/span><\/p>\n

Can you hear me?<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s your daughter<\/span><\/p>\n

And I need to speak to you<\/span><\/p>\n

Father, can we talk for a moment?<\/span><\/p>\n

I need to spill my heart to you<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m lost<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m hurting deep within <\/span><\/p>\n

My life is in shambles <\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t even know how or where to begin<\/span><\/p>\n

The Devil is in overdrive<\/span><\/p>\n

Ripping my life to shreds<\/span><\/p>\n

He knows I\u2019m at my lowest<\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s doing everything to push me over the edge<\/span><\/p>\n

I laugh to keep from crying<\/span><\/p>\n

When I cry I tend to explode <\/span><\/p>\n

Lord I\u2019m tired of fighting<\/span><\/p>\n

I know I can\u2019t get through this alone<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m sorry I shut you out<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve been trying to reach my heart<\/span><\/p>\n

I let all of the pain cloud me with doubt<\/span><\/p>\n

Please forgive me for not turning to You from the start<\/span><\/p>\n

This battle is not mines<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve been trying to make me see <\/span><\/p>\n

The Devil is trying to fill my heart with lies<\/span><\/p>\n

But I know in Your hands I can be free<\/span><\/p>\n

Father, can you please take the shackles from my feet?<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m done with being weighed down<\/span><\/p>\n

My spirit yearns to be set free <\/span><\/p>\n

My soul wants to dance to a joyous sound<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve been waiting to hear from me<\/span><\/p>\n

You knew I would come around<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for waiting so patiently <\/span><\/p>\n

Please forgive me for trying to walk my own path <\/span><\/p>\n

I place my life in your hands <\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for catching me every time I fall <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for me to live my life according to Your plans<\/span><\/p>\n
