i am still growing<\/div>\n
i hear my mothers advice with every step i take<\/div>\n
i smell jasmine incense & a cup of earl grey tea<\/div>\n
i see that maybe things have to get worst before they get better<\/div>\n

i want to be more honest, to be more loud<\/div>\n
i am still afraid<\/div>\n

i pretend that i am okay more often than i\u2019d like to admit<\/div>\n
i feel overwhelmed & anxious more often than not<\/div>\n
i touch myself and learn my body without the hands of a lover<\/div>\n
i worry about my little brother and the person he\u2019ll become<\/div>\n
i cry often and unapologetically<\/div>\n
i am sometimes unkind & selfish<\/div>\n
i am still healing<\/div>\n

i understand that not all love can last<\/div>\n
i say that everything is a social construct<\/div>\n
i am always dreaming<\/div>\n
i try to live my politics out loud<\/div>\n
i hope it\u2019s enough<\/div>\n
