For the umpteeth time I try<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

to feel my way out of this hell;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

this box where I can hardly breathe or move…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And for the umptheenth time<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I feel nothing;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

there’s no way out;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I have effectively been shut in<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and I’m stuck…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When ever will this hold be lifted?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When ever will I be rid of of this force<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

that will not release me…?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Emotionally depleted, I<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

look inward once again<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and send a message<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

to nobody in particular…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI need help. Please rescue me.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A sudden force wells up from deep inside me<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and in one last attempt,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I break free, float up and up<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and reach the light at the top of the box.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI’m free!\u201d I yell over and over…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Realization dawns upon me<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

that I am free because I broke free;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

that all I needed was my own strength<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

to conquer the giant that wouldn’t release me<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
