Make<br \/>\nmy boy-name your crowbar, and wedge it in<\/p>\n<p>tight underneath your statehouse. Etch each<br \/>\nletter into stone, knowing the rain and wind <\/p>\n<p>will one day erase it.  Let there be no funeral<br \/>\nprocession, no escort, no police in my parade,<\/p>\n<p>Turn parade back into riot. Say it ends here.<br \/>\nRemember the days before 1969, before <\/p>\n<p>all the words we had to describe the weights<br \/>\nlodged against us, only stones and bars <\/p>\n<p>with no windows.  Remember the names<br \/>\nthat no one ever taught you, and put mine <\/p>\n<p>right beside theirs.
