{"id":52046,"date":"2019-06-22T18:17:52","date_gmt":"2019-06-22T22:17:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=52046"},"modified":"2019-06-22T18:17:52","modified_gmt":"2019-06-22T22:17:52","slug":"every-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2019\/06\/every-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Every Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every Time!<br \/>\nVirginia Carraway Stark<\/p>\n<p>Every time  I have begun<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s time to begin again<br \/>\nEvery time I think I&#8217;m done<br \/>\nI find I&#8217;m half undone<br \/>\nevery time I&#8217;m half done<br \/>\nI become undone again!<br \/>\nBecoming done is half the fun<br \/>\nBecoming undone isn&#8217;t such a rerun<br \/>\nBut running is a lot of fun<br \/>\nEspecially if it&#8217;s in the trees<br \/>\nand not in a loop<br \/>\nOr backwards<br \/>\nOr forwards<br \/>\nBut rather in whatever direction<br \/>\nI want to go<br \/>\nTrees whipping me in the face<br \/>\nAnd truly nothing getting done at all!<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s the most fun at all<br \/>\nAnd then; panting for air<br \/>\nI haven&#8217;t earned<br \/>\nAnd falling all over myself<br \/>\nI know I&#8217;ve come completely undone<br \/>\nI laugh and fall onto the ground<br \/>\nFor I&#8217;ve done the very thing<br \/>\nI was trying not to do<br \/>\nBut in the most fun way of all<br \/>\nThat is how it happens<br \/>\nThat every time I have begun<br \/>\nI have to begin again<br \/>\nEvery time I am undone<br \/>\nI happily begin again! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every Time!
