Staring at the ceiling<\/p>\n
Wondering how to make time go faster<\/p>\n
Do I want to rewind and go back?<\/p>\n
Do I want to fast forward and get further?<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know if I want to go backward or forward<\/p>\n
At this point<\/p>\n
Now it\u2019s been half the time<\/p>\n
Half of three months<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been so long<\/p>\n
But yet gone so fast<\/p>\n
I just can\u2019t decide<\/p>\n
If I could go back<\/p>\n
Would I?<\/p>\n
If I did that I could change the choice I made<\/p>\n
I could have stayed behind<\/p>\n
I could have stayed close to you<\/p>\n
Or do I want to finish this up<\/p>\n
Just a little more time apart<\/p>\n
Just a few more weeks without you<\/p>\n
I know I can do this<\/p>\n
But staring at the clock<\/p>\n
The clock is a trickster<\/p>\n
Playing with my head<\/p>\n
Teasing my emotions<\/p>\n
The clock is cruel<\/p>\n
Then it hits me<\/p>\n
I am learning so much from you clock<\/p>\n
The distance<\/p>\n
The separation<\/p>\n
The time away<\/p>\n
The space between<\/p>\n
I have a weird relationship<\/p>\n
An odd but definitely needed time<\/p>\n
Now I want to thank you<\/p>\n
You\u2019ve taught me so much<\/p>\n
I\u2019m actual thankful<\/p>\n
Thank you clock<\/p>\n
Time is so precious<\/p>\n
We must cherish every second<\/p>\n
