dear past self,<\/p>\n

\n

i forgive you.<\/p>\n

i forgive you for the times you didn’t give me enough credit,<\/div>\n
that you didn’t believe in me like you should.<\/div>\n
i forgive you for all of your beating me ups,<\/div>\n
all of your “i should have done better”s.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
you did the best you could at the time,<\/div>\n
for wisdom isn’t imparted in instant doses of immediate.<\/div>\n
it’s acquired like marbles collected in a vase.<\/div>\n
it takes TIME to understand<\/div>\n
that it is the journey itself<\/div>\n
that gives you your marbles.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
what I absolutely REFUSE to DO<\/div>\n
I WILL NOT LET YOU\u00a0 DEFINE ME.<\/div>\n
I honor the good in you that you have cultivated,<\/div>\n
and I release the hurt that you accidentally hoarded.<\/div>\n
\u00a0I wash it away like sand.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I love you. I forgive you. but you are NOT who I am now.<\/div>\n
I will not allow others to judge me by you and I will NOT agree<\/div>\n
to follow in your footsteps forever.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0I ask you to allow me to flow into new definitions,<\/div>\n
\u00a0ocean waving the fullness of now without labels or<\/div>\n
preconceived notions.<\/div>\n
For who I am is Powerful.<\/div>\n
\u00a0I am a powerful breathtaking representation<\/div>\n
of anything that I choose to become<\/div>\n
\u00a0AND THAT’S OKAY.<\/div>\n
It’s okay for us to be two different people<\/div>\n
