Slatternly<\/strong><\/p>\n

look at those hedges<\/p>\n

untidy and blathering<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

imagine the stories they hold<\/p>\n

deep in the worn mulch of their roots<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

verbose I am sure<\/p>\n

as cluttered as the home they rest<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

look at those eaves filled<\/p>\n

with last years leaves<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

unconscionable the weight<\/p>\n

they bear to save rain from her hair<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

this woman not yet thirty<\/p>\n

yet unsound and unworthy<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

look at her dress<\/p>\n

a rainbow of a mess<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

how must she survive? does she not know<\/p>\n

this world of judgmental eyes?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

waiting to pounce on her<\/p>\n

waiting to see<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

if she has an answer<\/p>\n

for the who? what? or we?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I suppose she doesn’t care<\/p>\n

Perhaps she is not all there.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

or perhaps her happiness<\/p>\n

is in a place without stares<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

a place we will never know<\/p>\n

while using judgemental glares.<\/p>\n
