Every person inspects<br \/>\nthe world for the unusual or deranged.<br \/>\nEvery person fixates on the mysterious,<br \/>\nponders what might one day kill them.<br \/>\nThey each pray that no harm ever comes<br \/>\nto them, like what they see on the news.<\/p>\n<p>Poe brings their fears into the spotlight.<br \/>\nHe allows us to analyze every flaw<br \/>\nin the human condition. He puts the<br \/>\ndark and disastrous center stage.<\/p>\n<p>He makes us face it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is he a drug addict? Is he depressed? Is he a murderer?
