Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light<\/span>
\nWhat so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?<\/span>
\nWhose broad stripes and bright stars through<\/span> the perilous fight,
\nO’er the ramparts <\/span>we watched were so gallantly streaming?<\/span>
\nAnd<\/span> the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
\nGave proof through the night<\/span> that our flag was still<\/span> there.<\/span>
\nOh, say<\/span> does that star-spangled banner yet wave
\nO’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep<\/span>,
\nWhere <\/span>t<\/span>he foe’s haughty host in dread silence<\/span> reposes,
\nWhat is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,<\/span>
\nAs it fitfully blows,<\/span> half conceals, half discloses?<\/span>
\nNow it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,<\/span>
\nIn<\/span> full glory reflected now shines in the stream<\/span>:
\n‘Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave<\/span>
\nO’er the land of the free <\/span>and the home of the brave!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And where is <\/span>that band who so vauntingly swore
\nThat <\/span>the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion,
\nA home and a country <\/span>should leave us no more!
\nTheir blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution<\/span>.
\nNo refuge could save the hireling and slave
\nFrom the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
\nAnd the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
\nO’er the land of the free<\/span> and the home of the brave!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand<\/span>
\nBetween their loved home and the<\/span> war’s desolation!
\nBlest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land<\/span>
\nPraise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
\nThen <\/span>conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
\nAnd this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
\nAnd the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
\nO’er the land of the free<\/span> and the home of the brave<\/span>!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
