Goodnight catfish, I’ve done all I know to do<\/p>\n

I’ve thrown everything that I can think of<\/p>\n

Made every attempt to catch you<\/p>\n

I’m slam out of worms and stinkbait<\/p>\n

Now push has come to shove<\/p>\n

And I just can’t sit here and wait<\/p>\n

For you to break the water’s surface<\/p>\n

I guess you won’t see me waiting above<\/p>\n

I know that you’re there, though I ain’t seen your face<\/p>\n

So I’m headed home now, time to pack it in<\/p>\n

I’ve got a whole bag of cornmeal to get rid of<\/p>\n

My wife won’t believe where I’ve been<\/p>\n
