Yarn hoarder’s confession<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Street vendor by trade<\/p>\n

Crocheting hats with a<\/p>\n

Madame Defarge intensity<\/p>\n

Seven years I sold them<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now laden with too much<\/p>\n

Yarn purchased on sale<\/p>\n

I appear a hoarder unwilling<\/p>\n

To part with smart purchases<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hats of my own design<\/p>\n

Unable to follow formal<\/p>\n

Instructions lost on me<\/p>\n

I had made up my own<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now Granny squares<\/p>\n

Has become my therapy<\/p>\n

The same square in<\/p>\n

Infinite colors now hundreds<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As yet not unified the<\/p>\n

Squares are mounting up<\/p>\n

In bags hidden from view<\/p>\n

Until one day<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perhaps to circumnavigate<\/p>\n

This failing planet to<\/p>\n

Cozy it up with comfort<\/p>\n

That only Granny can offer<\/p>\n
