the monuments, eyes gaze in awe, then<\/p>\n
imagining what could have been<\/p>\n
in churches, cherubim and seraphim<\/p>\n
some destroyed in fire\u2019s sin<\/p>\n
makes me weep to see again<\/p>\n
the musicians here, in subways, trains<\/p>\n
always makes me sing refrains<\/p>\n
and try an instrument again<\/p>\n
the gastronomie, c\u2019est magnifique<\/p>\n
in restaurants fill up my cheeks<\/p>\n
my tastebuds brighten all the streets<\/p>\n
the concierge, le nom Yohann<\/p>\n
my family since 2001<\/p>\n
when towers fell, he was an ear<\/p>\n
