Bound to you, I cannot see the future.<\/p>\n

Where am I going, where have I been-<\/p>\n

those are questions you answer willingly,<\/p>\n

quickly doling out responses, no hesitation in your voice.<\/p>\n

What do you see? A body bound by you.<\/p>\n

Kept close, tied tight, like a gift ready to be opened,<\/p>\n

but only by you.<\/p>\n

You keep me this way, easy and so calm,<\/p>\n

a t-shirt and jeans, so casual and benign.<\/p>\n

Not a worry,\u00a0we’re just playing.<\/p>\n

Is this practiced nonchalance?<\/p>\n

I don’t know. I can’t tell anymore.<\/p>\n

The trust has been eroded, because I was the one bound-<\/p>\n

and blinded by my love.<\/p>\n

So easily you slipped the ropes around my arms,<\/p>\n

the blindfold over my eyes-<\/p>\n

because I trusted you.<\/p>\n

Then I found you lied.<\/p>\n

Yet, I’m bound to you.<\/p>\n

The refrain is sickening, it’s a chorus of poisoned sparrows,<\/p>\n

poisoned arrows, poisoned darts.<\/p>\n

Oh my heart-<\/p>\n

the decadence it craved,<\/p>\n

a crazed soliloquy,<\/p>\n
