Dwelling upon these systems of control<\/p>\n

Is hypocritical<\/p>\n

Because an obsession with oppressive systems of control is in itself a form of control<\/p>\n

An activist becomes reactionary<\/p>\n

Anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-war…
\nBut what are you FOR?<\/p>\n

The only way to escape these systems of control is to create a new system of your own<\/p>\n

While decrying oppression is empowering,
\nDefining yourself by what you stand against is dangerous<\/p>\n

Any progress made just a contradiction of external control mechanisms,
\nA treatment of symptoms,
\nIgnoring systemic causes<\/p>\n

Thumb nose at pop cultures,
\nDismiss statism in all it’s forms,
\nBut all that anger,
\nFrustration,
\nDefiant rage<\/p>\n

Imprisons the individual
\nFar more than any piece of totalitarian legislation passed by governments<\/p>\n

Illumination of the problems doesn’t solve them<\/p>\n

If all focus is on the external,
\nThe internal atrophies,
\nWhat makes us original and unique
\nLost
\nAll energy expended on everything but ourselves<\/p>\n

Freedom isn’t too far out of reach
\nBut to hold something,
\nGrasp lightly,
\nThink mindfully,
\nAct righteously,
\nWalk with Purpose<\/p>\n

Because talk <\/p>\n
