The doll\u2019s play gives way to bigger games<\/p>\n
As blasphemy loses its might<\/p>\n
When a young girl and her lover<\/p>\n
Declare their vows<\/p>\n
To be together forever<\/p>\n
Conflicting emotions surround them<\/p>\n
As they hold each other\u2019s hands<\/p>\n
And watch their age of innocence fly away<\/p>\n
Neurosis<\/p>\n
Innocence is contagious<\/p>\n
And I too lie scattered<\/p>\n
In the sophistry of the future<\/p>\n
As I am<\/p>\n
The neurotic edge<\/p>\n
Of society<\/p>\n
Fallen from the height of<\/p>\n
That age of innocence<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
