Shall I let it<br \/>\nyoke me so I can pull it<br \/>\naround the square, flies sticking<br \/>\nto my cheeks, vertebrae wailing<br \/>\nfor reprieve? Shall I let it<br \/>\nchoke me until my eyes bulge<br \/>\nto get The Greatest Distance<br \/>\nwhen the madness finally dislodges<br \/>\nand launches skyward for all<br \/>\nto see? Shall I make of it<br \/>\na joke to tell the masses<br \/>\nfrom a brightly lit stage, crooned<br \/>\ninto a microphone so no one<br \/>\nsees it for what it is?
